President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos hosted a State Dinner for visiting Japanese Prime Minister and Mrs. Fumio Kishida earlier tonight at Malacañang Palace.
The Japanese Prime Minister is in the Philippines for a 2-day visit for talks with President Bongbong Marcos to bolster overall relations, particularly defense ties in the wake of China’s increasingly aggressive actions in the West Philippine Sea.
Among those who attended the State Dinner in Malacañang were Vice President Sara Z. Duterte, newly-appointed Secretary of Agriculture Francis Laurel and Philippine Ambassador to Japan Mylene J. Garcia Alban
